Terms of Service

1. Purpose
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the legal relationship between NOD ("we", "us", or "our") and users ("you") of the NOD service. These Terms define the rights and obligations of both parties. By accessing or using the NOD service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
2. Account
You may create an account using your email address or a supported social login provider (e.g., Google). You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information and for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You must notify us promptly at shickcoong777@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Each individual may maintain only one account. Account sharing or transferring access to third parties is not permitted.
3. Service Use
NOD provides an AI-powered knowledge management service including article saving, AI-generated summarization, semantic search, and concept extraction. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the service at any time with reasonable notice. The service is offered in two tiers: a free Basic plan and a paid Pro plan ($5/month). All use of the service is subject to fair use guidelines; excessive automated use that degrades service performance for other users is not permitted.
4. Payment Processing
Payments for paid services (Pro plan) are processed through Paddle.com. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, handling payment processing, tax collection, and refunds. For payment-related inquiries, please contact shickcoong777@gmail.com or Paddle's customer support.
5. Content & Copyright
You retain full ownership and copyright of all content you save to NOD. By saving content to the service, you grant NOD a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. NOD does not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond service provision. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to save and process any content through NOD. NOD reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Prohibited Acts
The following activities are strictly prohibited: (a) reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the service; (b) circumventing or attempting to bypass any access controls or security measures; (c) automated scraping or crawling of the service beyond normal use through the official interface or API; (d) sharing account credentials or allowing others to use your account; (e) uploading or transmitting malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content; (f) using the service in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law; (g) taking any action that interferes with or disrupts the normal operation of the service or its infrastructure.
7. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting us. NOD may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misuse the service. Upon termination, your data may be retained for a reasonable period before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability) shall survive termination.
